This project involved the modernisation and extension of the Burleigh Bears Rugby Leagues Club. The existing clubhouse was a traditional design with little natural light, dark finishes and closed off from exterior vistas of the football fields. The project sought to open the club to the outside and provide a new external façade, giving the club an enhanced street scape and sense of arrival from the street. The main bar was relocated to serve both indoor and outdoor areas. Additionally, a new external terrace was added, offering a northern aspect and views of the fields. The interior spaces, including the sports bar, café, and gaming room, underwent a comprehensive modernisation with updated finishes throughout.
